The project entails the construction of a six-lane bridge spanning the Klang River, to facilitate seamless traffic flow between North and South Klang, bypassing the densely populated town centre. The main components of the project are:
- Main Bridge: A single-span structure utilizing reinforced concrete balanced cantilever box girder design, spanning the river channel.
- Approach Structures: Utilizing pretensioned prestressed reinforced concrete beams supported by piers on both sides of the main bridge.
- Approach Road: Connecting from Jalan Goh Hock Huat to Jalan Tanjung Syawal.
- Signalized Junction: Implemented at Jalan Goh Hock Huat to manage traffic flow effectively.
- Signalized Junction: Incorporated at Jalan Sg. Bertih to ensure safe and efficient intersection operations.
